While initially developed and offered for gaming, the Stream Deck has become a hugely popular "Shot Box" also in professional media control applications. This is mostly thanks to the free and community-driven Bitfocus Companion software with its excellent versatility and multi-target capabilities.
However, Stream Deck and Companion provide only push buttons and do not provide for continuous controllers such as (motorized) slide potentiometers, rotary knobs or joysticks.

By creating Target Definitions, users can easily add support for new devices without any coding. New protocols can be implemented by anyone using the integrated and powerful Glue Script environment.
How to install Glue alongside Companion:
STEP 1:
Download and import Glue Solution that fits your Stream Deck into Glue.
STEP 2 (OPTIONAL):
If your Companion installation is on a Remote System, enter the IP-Address and Port in the PlugIn Connection-Settings. Click “Save & Apply”.
STEP 3:
Enable "Use Elgato PlugIn for StreamDeck access" and restart Companion (make sure that the Elgato Software is not running).
STEP 4:
Point the "Glue Stream Deck Passthrough" Satellite to the Button Page you want to use with your Stream Deck.
Done - Glue and Companion will now share your Stream Deck!
